Join the Coastal Prairie Conservancy for Putting Down Roots 2022 and help us reach our goal of planting 1,000 native plants at the Indiangrass Preserve! New volunteers and participants of all ages are welcome to join this FREE event. Snacks and water will be provided, and you are welcome to bring your own food if you have dietary restrictions. Planting will take place between 9 AM and 12 PM, so hang around afterwards to purchase tasty food truck bites and enjoy fun activities until 1 PM!

As always, new volunteers and participants of all ages are welcome to plant native plants on the prairie. Don’t forget to dress for the weather, wear closed-toe shoes, and bring a reusable water bottle. Planting tools, educational booths, and snacks will be provided.
