Join stewardship volunteers at the Coastal Prairie Conservancy's Indiangrass Preserve for a very special Stewardship Saturday. Each year in April, we celebrate the explosion of life and color that comes with spring on the prairie.
We will participate in stewardship activities from 9 to 11 AM. The preserve will be open until 1pm and will have photo opportunities in the wildflowers along with kite flying, bird watching, and insect sweep-netting. All ages are welcome to participate!
Physical Requirements: Bending, kneeling, or sitting on the ground; some light lifting.
What to wear: Closed-toe shoes, tall socks, long pants, long-sleeved shirt, hat.
What to bring: Reusable water bottle, gardening gloves (or we have pairs to borrow). All other tools are provided.
