Join us for our monthly nature hike on the Katy Prairie! This month’s theme is “Winter Birds on the Prairie.” We will clean in and around several bluebird boxes, and everyone will leave with instructions on how to build and install bluebird boxes at home!

• Enjoy a guided hike through the prairie, exploring different areas each month

• Observe and learn about wildflowers, insects, and birds

• Finish with pond dip-netting at the prairie potholes

All ages are welcome. We'll start with a brief overview and safety talk. Please wear outdoor clothing including sun/insect protection and close-toed shoes (high socks/boots preferred). Please also bring a water bottle. Binoculars and cameras are welcome. Rain or shine!
